need help

planning a trip to DL for first time. probably never going back since we go to WDW several times a year and live on east coast. hate crowds but at the same time would hate to go and have some attractions and shows closed. my other thread concerned refurbs. from the experts on here when would you advise someone to go if only going once. thanks for your help.
