Hi, all! I'm an American living in Italy (for another year, then we head back to the US) and am planning a trip to Paris 20-26 November. There is no way I'm going to Paris and NOT going to DLP, but I need some help! I've tried searching the forum, but after reading for an hour didn't really find what I was looking for.
We have four kids. Their ages at the time of our trip will be 11, 7, 4, and 1 (she'll actually turn 1 during our trip). We're probably either going to fly or take the Eurostar from Venice to Paris (it cost me 100 Euro to fill up my van yesterday, adding tolls to that, it works out to be cheaper to fly EasyJet or RyanAir).
So, my plan is to rent an apartment for the week in Paris. Does anyone have experience with that? How easy is it to get to DLP from Paris? Would it be easier if I rented an apartment for the part of the trip we're in Paris and then rent a hotel closer to DLP for that part? Also, I know WDW and DL are offering military discounts. Does anyone know if any of the other Disney parks are doing the same?
For those who have been to Paris, is the city easy to navigate? Any must-dos you'd recommend (other than the Eiffel Tower and Louvre)? This will be our first big trip outside of Italy since we've been here, so I'm a bit nervous!
Any other tips anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated! I know I'm probably a little behind the power curve in my planning!
