I need help on getting enough credits for the Quest Machine.

Can anyone help me get credits?? :worship: :worship:

[4:25 PM] I'm on right now. If anyone would like to help. :confused3

I have about 9,000 right now. :sad2:

I got a bit of a ways to go...

I can play ghosts with you when I get home from work at about 5:30 if you are still around.

PMed you 10 Yeti seat codes, you need to enter them, but they are worth 2,500 credits. Oops, I told you 3,000 in the PM.

Thanks so much Coasterguy!! I am up to 11,000 creds!! :cool1: :cool1:

You can sell the chairs for 50 credits each. That's another 500 credits.

Thanks to LittleBelle I have 15,000 credits!!

Woot! Thanks Belle!! :thumbsup2

I may be able to help tomorrow, just PM me when you're on. I need to get myself some credits too. Trying to get 30,000 as to have a little extra. Only at 17,000 now :x

As DarthJordan's mother, I feel the need to respond to this post. First of all, Dark, you needed to come to ME before posting a plea for help here. I just found this post as I was perusing the boards this morning.

Second of all, I want all my Dis'er friends to know that DarthJordan is a teenager and not a "little kid". He is perfectly capable of getting credits daily like we all do here. :) He has access to the computer every day of the week (usually) and is good at the games.

I do want to thank those of you who have helped him by playing the games to earn credits. That is fine with me. But please do not give out "hand-outs" to him. I may be a hard parent, but I want my kids to buy their OWN things, not ask others to do so for them. If something new comes out in the store* and they can't afford it, my answer to them is always, "then go jump on pirates". (*with the exception of bat magic which their father bought for each of them because they both had less than 1000 credits at the time, and trying to get to 10,000 credits over the weekend was a little unreasonable.)

Kudos to you as a parent :)

(it's wonderful that everyone is so generous here, but I also agree wholeheartedly with threeboysmom's style)

Pink, and Darth, I was glad to help out in the pirates game yesterday, and will very happily do so again today! Arg, I have become truly addicted to sinking the scurvy pirates!

Pink, as far as handouts, I agree. You know my DS, 16 yo, ILikeCheeze. He had 967 credits when he wanted the quest kiosk. Since the machine was not tradeable, it was the perfect way to have him "help himself".

He played games and sold some of his stuff, and eventually made it. (btw, he is now a VERY PROUD owner of a quest kiosk and has run it twice so far, once being first thing this morning.) Thank you VMK for them not being tradeable or Mom would have been hit up for it! So... kudos Pink for also choosing to have Darth help himself too!
:thumbsup2

Pink, I appreciate your note explaining that Darth can earn the credits on his own. I agree with your philosophy about children earning their own credits. I would be quite upset if I were to find one of my kids begging other VMK players for stuff. However, in Darth's defense, I interpreted his post as a request for people to play games with him to help him earn credits. I didn't consider the possibility of gifting items, etc. until I read the posts from people who gave him things. Given my interpretation of Darth's post, I feel the gifts were given just to be nice, not because Darth asked for any gifts.

Darth, I DO think you should have asked your mom before creating the post. It sounds like this is one of the rules for your family so you need to follow it.
