Well we have decide on a quick trip in mid Dec....10th thru 15th to be exact....We were planning on Disney but after much talk with the kids...they wanted Universal...Spiderman, Hulk etc....I was a bit upset by that but ok....We are only gonna spen 4 days in the parks....IOA, US, SW, and BG....We want to stay on site but they the budget may be an issue so we are looking offsite.....right now we are considering....Sleep inn and Suites on Major Blvd, Holiday Inn international drive resort, or fairfield inns and suites on canada drive....does anyone have any experience with these hotels? or can someone recommend a clean and safe budget hotel in the Universal area....Thanks

Hi we are from England and have stayed at the Holiday Inn I-drive - it is a good hotel, nice rooms/restaurants and a large pool area , fairly close to Universal.

Have stayed at nicer hotels in the area such as the Rosen Center but these were more expensive - HI is good value for money.

Be careful though - I drove past the hotel in August and they have re-painted the exterior, the colours are urghhhh - horrid :)
