I have booked a specialty cruise for May 30th. It is the one that takes off from a MK resort and goes into Seven Seas Lagoon to watch Wishes. I don't think they officially call it a "Wishes" cruise though. We are leaving from GF (we are staying at YC), and I've booked dinner at 1900 PF before the cruise. I'm looking for reviews of this cruise. It will cost about $300, so I want to make sure I am making the right decision. I almost booked the Illuminations cruise, but the castmember at the YC IPO that I spoke with today recommended this cruise instead. Does anyone have any good or bad feedback for me?

Thank you!

We did the Wishes cruise last June when we were staying at GF. You leave early, the Captain of the pontoon boat takes you around the lake and tells you about the lake, the resorts, etc, and then you end up in front of MK in time for the Wishes fireworks. He pipes in the music, you watch the show, he drives you back to the Grand Floridian. The best part about it was the fact that he drove you right back to your hotel. I probably would not pay $300 + (don't forget to tip your Captain) if I then had to take a monorail to MK and get on a bus to go back to my hotel. In my opinion, I was paying for the convenience of sitting on my butt and not having to deal with crowds. If I had it to do all over again, I'd probably just go sit on Main Street. Especially if I had to deal with crowds waiting for a bus anyway.

I surprised my family with a Wished cruise a couple of years ago and we loved it! We had seen it from inside the park multiple locations, outside multiple locations but on water was completely unique. I would definitely do it again.

Thanks. I may look into the Pirates and Pals fireworks cruise, which from what I can tell is similar except for the characters and the price.

Yes, I remember seeing (and for a while, hearing) the Pirates boats while out on the lake. They all end up at the same place for the Wishes show.
