Need help with Pricelining a hotel for night before drive to Vero

We are flying into MCO and will be arriving around 9 pm. We want to Priceline a hotel near whatever major route we will be taking out of the Orlando area to drive to Vero the next morning. Should we get a room near the airport, Seaworld, Disney area,etc.?? TIA

Will you have a car that night? If not I'd book a hotel near/at the airport. If you will have a car you could still do the airport, or you could book something in the Cape Canaveral area. It's a 30-40 minute drive from MCO, but it is on the way to Vero. The Disney and Sea World areas will take you in the wrong direction from Vero and you'll just have to backtrack the next morning. There isn't much between the airport and Cape Canaveral so stick to one of those locations.

Just an FYI...Priceline rooms are not guaranteed for more than 2 people and you may end up with one King bed. If this isn't a problem for your party size then you'll be fine. If it is then I'd consider booking through Hotwire instead. We've had great luck with them in both the MCO and Cape Canaveral areas and they allow you to bookf or the number of people in your party.

We have had very good luck with Hotel Kingdom and you know exactly what you will get before you agree to it. You might also check with a sponsor of these boards- Dreams Unlimited - they sometimes have some very good offers and may be able to guide you in the right direction with a hotel where you need it.

Thank you. Yes we will have a car and it's just Dh and I, but i think we will try Hotwire first.
