::yes:: I am local but we rarely tour with a plan or for more than a couple hours these days. And those include wine most of the time. :lmao:

I have some friends from out of town who haven't been to DCA since before GoTG opened.

We are going this Monday, 7/1. We will rope drop and have Max Pass.

Its EMH which we will not have access to.

We will have from 9a-3p; get on last ride at 3 pm.

Super wonderful friends but very much the *I don't know, whatever you want to do* type people so I am feeling a little pressure to show them a good time.

I am thinking to try for Incredicoaster FP, then GoTG FP, then Soarin' FP. We can do RSR single rider.

Thoughts on that or any other itinerary suggestions would be much appreciated.

:thanks:

All I can suggest is to do the wine.... Have a great time.

Monday is 7/2, isn't it (not that it matters)? I feel like DCA is the more laid back park, so aside from the stuff you're planning, you also might want to take some time for GRR, especially if it's hot and/or humid. Otherwise, just wander and see what's there. If they're still doing the GotG dance-off, that's kind of fun, too. I haven't been to DCA in a while, so I don't know if it's still an entertainment offering though.

Having been there last week, I agree with this order.
Defiantly single rider RSR, each time I went on it, standby would be heading to 120 minutes, Fastpass about 50 minutes and single rider about 20 minutes. Although do watch the App, if it goes down, stay away even from single rider!

what about Toy Story Mania, I love it but couldnt go on it this time as I was there before Pixar Pier opened. Monsters Inc and Little Mermaid are also favourites of mine. Dont forget Lugies which is fun but I would do it in the morning before 11.15am, when its still over cast, as most of the wait line and the actul right is out in the blazing sun.

Shoot, yes, its 7/2. Thank you. GRR is a good idea. Monday says 77* in Anaheim which will feel like 87*.

Totally forgot about Toy Store Mania.......Little Mermaid and Monsters are both good while waiting for FPs to be good; thanks!

We never do single rider on RSR; does the line get out of control?

I only do single rider, most of the time it's half what Fastpass is. Always check with the CMs though as when it comes back after being down, even single rider can hit 40 minutes as everyone comes back with their Fastpass

Great idea! I wouldn't think to check with the CMs on the single rider time.

Don't forget the live music! If you need some breaks between rides, check out Five and Dime, Newsboys, Mariachi Divas, Pixar Band, etc.

Great ideas, thank you! ::yes:: There will be one in the group who will definitely need some down time.

Thanks everyone for the tips. We are going tomorrow, crossing my fingers for the best. I hate the pressure.
