How much does the average person spend at WDW? I need to know if what each of the four of us are bringing is enough, more than enough or not enough.

Depends... could be as little or as much as you want. However, I would say that we spend about $50-65/day per person on food (since we usually do a sit-down/character meal 1x/day -- altho, we often only eat two "real" big meals a day & snack the rest of the day,)... another $30-50 on miscellaneous and I usually reserve about $100-$150 per person for souvenirs for total trip... I know that may be a bit conservative for some people, but it depends on how often you'll be eating at a sit-down place, how many snacks (i.e, Mickey Bars, popcorn, bottled water) you buy and how irresistable you may find the Hat stand to be... or all those fun exit area merchandise shops! Don't forget the ride photos! Could be $29 or more each!

For prices of restaurants, you can check out the dining section at allearsnet.com. That should help with figuring that part out.

I can't tell you exactly how much we spend because we just say 'CHEAP' AS CAN BE!

We are annual passholders and are not rich. So, if we are going to go as often as we do (we make weekend trips up from South Florida) we must go as cheap as possible. We stay at a cheaper off site hotel (must be clean though).

We normally take a pack into the park and fill it with sandwiches (to save weight, we just buy drinks) and snacks. We pick from it through the day and ON OCCASSION we will eat at a place like Pecos Bills or something.

We may get an ice cream at the parlor.

If we want a decent dinner we go offsite to Perkins or something.

I know it's cheap but when you have to be you will be and you can still have fun. The real money saver is bringing your own food.

we're not really rich either. :guilty: :D but with our taxes this year we will have a bunch left over each to spend. It's actually kind of obscene but we don't want to have to worry about "do we have enough money for this?" If we have money left when we get home, well, bonus. :D
