Hi All,

I'm looking for opinions on a 2 bedroom at BCV. I'm looking at 552, 553, and 542. I would very much like the 2nd bedroom to have 2 queen beds instead of a pullout. Also I would like a view of Epcot. Ok so now back to my questions about the 5th floor. It appears on a map of BCV that 553 is a bit separated from the next villa due to a curve in the building, I'm wondering what that does for 553, short of reduce the noise that might come from either of the villa's. The 2nd thing is I'm wondering what you all think of 552 which is on the end? Pro's and Cons.

Can anyone recommend a dedicated 2 bedroom with 2 queen beds, with a view of Epcot for possible Illuminations viewing.

Thanks

I think you are setting yourself up for disappointment by concentrating on getting a specific unit. The chances of getting the unit or units you ask for are very slim. You will probably be better off requesting a particular view (woods, quiet pool, courtyard ... etc) and the highest floor available. Also, you will want to request a dedicated 2 bedroom when you make the reservation in order to get a 2nd bedroom with 2 beds instead of 1 bed and a pullout.

I'm sure it's not impossible, but I've never heard of anyone requesting a specific unit and getting it. The chances are miniscule, especially if you are going during a busy time. Better to concentrate on a particular area of the resort and hope for that.

My plan was to ask for a two bedroom with an Epcot view and just saw from the floor plans that their were three on the 5th floor. My only firm request is for the two queen beds in the 2nd bedroom. Based on an earlier post, I saw someone say that there were very few two bedrooms with 2 queens. We will be down in May, during the Flower and Garden show, so I'm thinking I have a better chance of getting what I want if I check in earlier and just wait for a room to be ready.

I was just looking for any info anyone might have on two bedrooms with an Epcot view. I wonder if you can see some of Illuminations from say a 2nd or 3rd floor.

Thanks for your input and your are right about requesting a certain room, I don't think I would do that, just to avoid disappointment.

We stayed in BCV unti 453 in September. Do not get too carried away with the Epcot view. Between the trees and the Soarin' building, you get a bit of view for Illuminations, but not a great view. 453 was a dedicated unit with two double beds in the second BR.

FYI, if you want two queen beds in the second bedroom, you have to make the reservation that way. That is a guaranteed reservation and not a request.

Well, I just got off the phone with member services and my choices were 4 days in a dedicated two bedroom with the two beds and 1 day on wait list for the same room, but than I would have to move if the wait list didn't become available. So... I wait listed the whole 5 days in a dedicated two bedroom and will keep my fingers crossed.
