Hi Everyone,

I'm getting out of my field of very little expertise and trying to make an iron-on for a t-shirt.

A recent poster asked about a peace, love, mickey idea and I thought I could use that to make a t-shirt.

Here is what I would like my end product to look like, my question is, how do I do it?

and

I'm going to make the tie-dye shirts first and the colors will probably be like those depicted above (dark). I would then like to iron-on the "peace, love, mickey image." From the little bit that I have read about iron-on transfers, I'm thinking I need the light transfers (as opposed to the dark)?

Is this correct?

Any ideas and suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Yes, in order to not have the white inside the peace sign and around your text, you will want to use a light transfer.

The only thing you should be aware of is the highlight on the heart. If it is just dark enough to actually 'print' with ink than you will be fine but if it does not print a color, then this area will be clear with a light transfer. Then the shirt color will show through this area.

Does that make sense? Any other questions, ask away!
