Need help with grocery store decision!

I've searched for this answer on other boards and gotten various answers but more often then not I don't get the answer I'm looking for so I thought I'd ask on the Board I'm most comfortable on!

We're going to the World Nov 10-17, staying at AKL, and will have a rental car. I'm looking for a good grocery store that has:

Liquor
Groceries (mostly breakfast/picnic in the parks stuff)
At least one kid's swim suit rack
Liquor
Decent Disney t-shirts
Possibly cheap "throw away" cell phones
And did I mention liquor?

I know they've discussed some of the grocery stores in the area on the podcast before and there were varying opinions. Does anyone have a favorite?

Walmart or Publix. Both aren't very far away from the world. Goodings is right outside the world @ Crossroads, but it's SOOOOO expensive. I'd steer toward Walmart or Publix as far as value and selection. (we did all three last week to check them out)

Down Sherberth Rd to Hwy 192, take a right and about 2 miles down there is a Publix on the right side of the road, directly across is a Super Target. Here's a map, the placement of the Publix is not to scale, it's further than it looks, and I haven't added the Super Target yet.

Absolutely agree. That's the Publix we went to last week and it had a GREAT selection!

Publix doesn't carry liquor. They have beer and wine. No bathing suits. I would recommend the Super Walmart on 535. They would have all your items.

I prefer Target and there are two Super Target stores fairly close to WDW. One is at 4795 W. Irlo Bronson in Kissimmee (basically just South of Osceola Parkway and Vineland where Vineland merges in with Irlo Bronson). The other is at 3200 Rolling Oaks which is at that newer mall area at Irlo Bronson and the 429 Western Beltway. This one might be closer to AK than the first I mentioned.

There is another closer Publix that is not shown on this map. Take Osceola Pkwy to Int'l Dr, turn left, it's about 1/2 mi on the left side at Vineland Ave, right across from the premium outlets. Kathy is right though, they only sell beer and wine, but there is a liquor store in the same strip mall, just around the corner to the right.
