Hi all!

Hubby just found out he'll need to be in the Tampa area for training for 3 weeks starting on Monday. I know I've seen posts on here where folks have gotten great weekly rates for vacations. If you have gotten a great rate can you let me know where to start looking? Any help is appreciated sloop much! Thanks!

Last minute headed into spring break season will be ahrd to find a dela. I would check on VRBO.com or homeaway.com and see if anyone has something available last minute.

We were between places and my daughter stayed at an Extended Stay in Orlando for just over a month - the monthly rate was 25 a night and they charged her once a week. I would recommend that route - there was no deposit to make - everything she needed was right there. The rates aren't that good if you aren't staying as long though so be sure to put in the complete dates you are interested in.

traveliz-do you remember the name of the extended stay place? The one we called was $50 a night! Even after we told them it would be 3 weeks.

Tried the other 2 sites from pp, but looks like we've missed out on any deals, but thanks for the sites, I'm going to hang on to them for our next vaca!

How about having him check with the people providing the training? They probably have recommended locations with pricing agreements. Also, who is paying his expenses, or reimbursing him? What requirements do they have to pay him?

Yes it was Extended Stay - I went to their website and priced the different ones - they have several levels of hotels (regular, deluxe).

Figment~No reimbursement since we're purchasing the restaurant. All training & stuff we do is at our own cost, but has to be done!! That's why we're trying to do it as cheap as possible.

I'll have him double check today with the training store to see if they have any suggestions or arrangements made, I don't think they do, but fingers crossed!

Thanks for the suggestions!
