In the past I have avoided certain rides because I am unable to get one foot to go underneath of the foot bar. The last time I tried the attendent wasn't very polite and everything grinded to a halt - to the dismay of everyone in line! Sadly, I excused myself from the ride and have not attempted to ride since. My problem is that my leg does not bend sufficiently enough to allow me to place my foot under the bar (see Space Mtn and I believe the Rockin RC). The other foot - no problem, lap bar/shoulder bar - no problems. So you can see there is no safety issue, but the attendant would not allow me to put my foot over the bar. Basically, according to the rules I was told, you can't ride unless both feet can fit underneath the safety bar - so if you were missing one foot/part of your leg/etc. then you can't ride either ride because of safety concerns. No way this can be the case.

Can anyone help me?? Who can I talk to at Disneyworld? I miss Space Mtn...

Thanks!

I dont remember the rules with those but have you tried putting it in at an angle? That might help. If not you might speak with the people at Guest Relations once you arrive or call ahead. You could always call Disney and ask to speak with Main Street City Hall. They will probably help you with that easily. Hope you get it solved and get to ride!

Okay, first - common sense, if a Guest doesn't have two feet, then of course that Guest is not required/expected to place a non-existent appendage anywhere. The "both feet" must be under the bar, or "all hands and arms must be inside the vehicle" or "remain seated" or "do not leave the vehicle" rules are safety requirements for various attractions.

I truly can't picture how somebody can board an attraction keeping one leg over/outside the safety bar, and expect to ride safely.

Who to see? When you approach an attraction that may be an issue (can't see Rock 'N Roller Coaster being one, since there's no 'safety bar' but rather a harness-type restraint that comes down over one's shoulders), tell the Greeter you need to speak to the Attraction Lead. Explain your situation to that person, and request assistance. No, you will not be permitted to leave your leg over/above/outside the safety device, but they may be able to help.

Or, ride Space Mountain at DisneyLand instead. They can (and do) pull a ride vehicle out of line so otherly-abled Guests can board safely; plus, give the three- or four-across seating, there's more room for your leg with the bending issue.
