Need help with Disney meet-up ideas

A friend of mine and I are trying to pick a spot to meet up. My kids and I will arrive on the auto train the day we meet, and she will be going to a park with her family for half a day. We don't want to meet for a meal since that would not give them enough time in the parks.

Where can we get a great snack and have a fun place for the kids (9,8, 7, 4, 4 and 2) to run around and play?

I thought about Fort Wilderness, but I'm looking for other suggestions, too!

Where are they staying?

If you're going to be at Pop for the beginning of your trip, the Goofy sprinkler area would be fun for the little ones, the bigger kids could go in the big pool if they wanted. The food court is right there for a snack.

If they're at a different resort, that would be another option.

If you're staying at a condo like Windsor Hills with its own pool area, that might be an option as well.

You could grab a quick meal or snack at DTD and let the kids play at the Lego Store or water spouts. Lots to do in that area.

We are staying at the Pop at the end of our trip. We are not looking for a place to play in the water since I know that is not acceptable.

Just a great playground and a good snack!
