We are a family of 6. 2 adults 4kids ages 15,11,and 5 y.o. twins. We have determined that our older 2 children will not eat $41 dollars in food a day to justify doing the dining plan. Our oldest has cerebral palsy and doesn't eat a whole lot and prefers meals from the kids menu. Our 11 year old is also a light eater. That being said-we also like going to TS meals-not just counter service meals. My question is, if we aren't on the DDP can they both order off the kids meals menu or because of their age will we be forced to pay adult prices for food they will not eat? Thanks for letting me know.:confused3

I would ask on the DISabilities board.

Strictly speaking they should order off the adult menu, however there is an 'adult size' child's menu item option that was priced at only $2 or so over the kids menu price- that might be a good solution for you. We have not ordered that way for a couple years, hopefully someone here has done this more recently and can confirm.

They can order of the kid's menus at table service places that are not all-you-care-to-eat, like buffets or family style meals that are pre-plated and unlimited.

That means, for character meals, for example, you'd be paying adult prices, even if they only eat from the kids' stations on the buffets.

Any place where everyone orders off the menu....they can order kid's meals without any problems.
