Hi my name is Jorge (George) Im from Monterrey,Mexico. :wave2:

I dont speak english very well, sorry if i make written mistakes. I´ll try to do my best.

I need your opinion about traveling to orlando.

We are a party of 7 and we´ll be traveling Sunday december 25th in the morning

Our schedule is this:

DELTA AIRLINES

Departure From Monterrey, Mexico 6:25 AM Landing Atlanta at 10:03 AM

Departure From Atlanta 11:00AM arraving to orlando at 12:25PM

My quiestion is: Do you think is enough time to make the conexion? :hourglass i mean is it really enough time to catch the plane to orlando in 57 minutes for a party of 7??

We have to get trough the customs , and carry our laguage and i dont know if christmas day in the morning its gonna be very crowded, and we couldnt get the conexion on time.

Anyone had an experience flying atlanta christmas morning?

How much time do you think we need to get to the second plane?

sorry for that many questions, but im a little afraid about loosing our plane....... one last question... What happen if we couldnt get to the second plane? do we lost the plane and our money? or delta put us in another plane whitout charge.

thank you for your help, and sorry for my "mexican" english. :confused3

It seems a little tight to me but hopefully weather and everything works for you and you arrive a little early.

If you booked the flight direct with Delta or a travel agent, they are responsible to get you on another plane if you miss it as long as it is books straight through (not purchasing the 2 flights seperatly) you'll be fine.

One hour may not be enough time to make the connection in Atlanta.
You will arrive at Concourse E, which is the same concourse from which many Orlando flights depart. If there is a line at Immigration, tell one of the Officers and they will help expedite you thru Immigration.

If Delta and/or AeroMexico booked you on the flight, the connection should be possible.

If you do not make the connection, Delta will automatically rebook you on the next flight to Orlando.

There is a layout of the airport in the Delta magazine. Take it with you as a guide, they are free for passengers.

There will be Spanish speaking Immigration officers if you have a problem.

You shouldn't have any problem as long as your flight from Mexico is on time and the wait through customs/immigration is not very long. Once you all clear customs/immigration it should not be more than 5 to 10 minutes, at most, to be at your connecting gate.

Atlanta airport is very easy to navigate. The train transporting you between terminals is very efficient.

Also, you don't have to take your luggage far. You pick it up, walk through customs and Delta takes it back. It's a very quick process.
