Hello..
Just wondering if anyone could provide some assistance? We are planning a combination WDW/Vero trip next summer. Thinking about 5-6 days @WDW and 2-3 days at Vero. I'm sure many have done this. Any suggestions? It will be DH, DD and friend, and myself. Not sure if we're doing a studio or a 1br @ WDW. What kind of room should we get at Vero?

Thanks.

We used to only book a 1 bdrm or a studio at WDW. We are a family of 4. At Vero, we have only ever stayed in the inn. If you don't mind sofa sleepers a studio would also be a good option as then you will have a mini-apartment style room with a couch and bed with mini table, frig, and microwave. For two adults and 2 (under age 13 kids) I says this is great.

We now have a 14 and 17 year old and I will only book 2 bdr. Giving them a room of their own and us our own get away.

You'll have an awesome time no matter what kind of room you get at Vero.

Staying at Vero after a stay at WDW is a must for us. We love the relaxation at Vero after a week at the parks. We usually stay for 4 nights. That seems to be the right amount of time for us, not too much and just enough. We have stayed in the inn for the ocean view. Now oceanviews are more available because of all the hurricane damage the resort has encountered. The dunes and vegetation are just about all gone! It was amazing to see how much the beach front changed. Before Disney had hardly any beach now it has a lot!

Can't really give you any advice, but we are planning a WDW/Vero trip as well. Ours will be weighted more on the Vero side, with 3-4 nights at the Poly and 5 at Vero. We will be Me, DH, DD9 & Friend, DD4. We are going to try to get 2 Ocean View Inn Rooms and request that they be connecting. Well see how it goes when we try to book in July.

I wouldn't waste points on a studio at Vero, but I only stayed in one and the kids referred to it as the "closet room". I would do the 1 bedroom or an Inn room, they also have the fridge, micro, toaster, etc., like the studios, but 2 queen or full beds. The past few trips we have done the Inn Ocean View, and request top floor front facing!! Good luck!

When at Vero, we use the kitchen more than when we are at WDW, and we spend more time in the room so we like the extra space of the 1 bedroom.
