Need help with an ADR

Hi,
I am working on my ADR's and I am stuck on one. Our first full day there I am looking for a place in the MK or one of the MK hotels. It will Me, DH,
DD(2) and my Mom and Dad. I am looking for a place that will be okay for a 2 year old while showing my dad that Disney isn't all "theme park" food like he thinks it is. He hasn't been there since I was a kid and is only going because he loves my DD and wants to see her experience it.

We are going to Chef Micky's the night before and we are going to Ohana later in the trip.

How about Kona Cafe at the Poly, or The Plaza at MK? I like both of those. If I had to pick just one, I'd pick the Plaza. It's got a great location in MK, and there is a nice selection of choices on the menu, plus you can get great ice cream for dessert. Have a great time!

Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom for dinner is very good. It is like eating Thanksgiving dinner. Hard not to like it. It use to have characters, but not anymore.

I'm going to recommend the Grand Floridian Cafe or the Whispering Canyon Cafe. You will already be going to the Conemporary for one meal and the Polynesian for another. Either of the two suggested places would give you another resort to check out.

Another suggestion would be Trail's End at the Fort Wilderness Campground. Excellent opportunity for your father to see a very different side of Disney World.

Is it dinner or lunch you're looking for?

Lunch I'd do LTT. Food is good and you won't have to travel.

Dinner, I'd do GF Cafe. It doesn't have the Theme Park feel, you'll get to see another resort and the food is good.

I vote for Ohana - big hunks of meat for your dad and some yummy asian inspired sides

ETA: oops saw you are going to Ohana later. Well what about Whispering Canyon then?
