Need help understanding add-on incentive?

Having recently been ROFR'd on a resale contract, DH and I are changing our strategy. We purchased a 150pt BCV contract from Disney, and were trying for another 150 BCV resale that we lost. So we then thought we would try for BWV points, but now my DH thinks he wants SSR. Can anyone tell me the add-on incentive at SSR? I called my guide today but her voice mail said she was out until Monday. I tried to search on past threads but I was confused by different answers. Any help is appreciated !!!

The current incentive is purchases of 120 points or more receive 100 bonus points. You will also receive -$8 for 2005 UY points or -$5 if you receive 2004 UY points. 2005 dues are pro-rated and paid by DVC.

Current price is $95 so subtract the $8 or $5 from that depending on your UY.

I just closed on my add-on last week and it all went really smooth.

I have an April UY, does that mean I can't get 2004 points since April is over today?

Technically you cannot for reasons stated. If you are willing to purchase 150 points and go with a later UY (new membership) you may be able to get 2004 points.

I was able to get 2004 points by purchasing a September UY 150 point contract so it is possible but you will have to meet the minimum requirement of a new contract. September works out great for our December trips so it was a great addition to our contracts.

This is great, we do want to buy 150 points, so maybe we can get 2004 points. I'll pay the $3 extra, that seems like a great deal.

We were at SSR at Easter time and decided to do an add-on there. Our guide advised us to do the add on at home since we have an APRIL UY and the 100 extra points would have been usless in our 2004 UY. So we did the add on so the points would be added to our 2005 UY. We paid $87 per point and got 100 one time points added to our 05 account.

Yes they are! But of couse *I* decided to use mine in August!
