Hi. for some reason i just can t make a decision which would be the best deal for us. we are going in april and staying 9 nights at BC. I have left over passes with one day left on them.I thought we could trade them in for a pap (we like the water parks and pleasure island , go at least once or twice each visit). We have NO plans to return with in a year. Should I do this or buy ump or a 7 day hopper plus which i could add days to. any help figuring this out would be appreciated. The passes are two years old. I will be joining the DC for the discount. thanks for your help in advance <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

Hi, Bubbles,

If I were making this decision for my family, I would NOT trade the leftover days for a PAP (or any other pass, for that matter). Here's why: Disney has increased ticket prices since you purchased those tickets. It is better to just use those days - if you trade them in, you will receive less than the current cost of a day's admission. If, for example, you had one day left on a four day hopper, you would get the origianl cost of the ticket divided by four. Since park admission was less when you bought your tickets, you end up paying more for a day's admission. Since you do not plan to return within a year, I would suggest that you use the old passes and then purchase either a 6 or 7 day hoppoer plus - depending on the timing of your arrival on the first day and your departure on the last day. This gives you either 7 or 8 days in the major parks and either 3 or 4 visits to one of the waterparks or Pleasure Island. And if you don't use all of the days or pluses, you will have them for your next trip - even if it isn't for a year or two. Hope this helps. It was just my opinion.

and check out the prices on ticketRes

they are just as good as the disney club discount at disney stores......or from the disney club 800#

If you visit the parks at least 8 days, the APs are the most ecconomical pass. ;)
