I have been asked to find airfare to England for the first 2 weeks of August. Does anyone have any sites that are good to find airfare from Toronto to Heathrow. Thanks

We fly British Airways... we love the food and the service. Plus it is nice to have the choice in movies and channels.

We have also flown Air Canada as well. I always worry about them going on strike though.

also try www.exit.ca as they seem to have the charter flights but most fly into gatwick.
Good luck!

I have these sites, but I'm not sure where they fly in to: If it's Gatwick it's an easy ride on a train into London. When I went over in December I flew British Airways. They send me emails when they have promotions on. Flight prices are very high in the summer months so beware:
I paid $650 taxes included just after Christmas and that was thru a promo.

Got an email from Air Canada-they have a European seat sale going on. Check out their site and put in your date you may get lucky. Also sign up for their email notification service (theirs and other airlines too).

THanks for all the answers. I have checked out the web sites. Boy going to England sure is expensive. It seems that she needs to go to Heathrow so the one flyzoom isn't going to work. The others the prices are WOW expensive. It is going to cost (at least at this point) $955.00 or $944.00. Is that normal? Since I have never priced out a ticket to England so I don't know what is normal and what is high.

If so, then that's actually a good price for summer months! We paid $1150/adult in economy for BA last July! By the time we added taxes to an Airtransat flight to Gatwick... it wasz only $130 more to go BA.
it's a 7 hour flight from here so COMFORT is important. We liked the bigger seats, personal TVs and food/ snacks served!

Does BA have larger seats? Yes the prices do include all tax's and charges and surcharges and fee's. I'll give her the amounts tomorrow. I did look up Expedia.ca but found that the prices were actually a little higher than on the airlines web sites.

Personally, I felt cramped in the back half of our BA flight. I don't know the dimensions of the seats. The food was excellent though, and the personal tv's were great as well!
Those prices sound right for the summer months. If I get anything from BA I'll let you know. The last promo came out at the beginning of Feb.

DD flew to England last June with Air Canada. Prices were really high until mid May (her dates were flexible so we waited). I signed on by chance mid afternoon on a Wednesday and the price had dropped $400 - needless to say we snapped it up right then and there ($780 return-3 week trip). The next day it was back up again. My advice-keep punching in your dates on different days at different times and you may get lucky-but be prepared to buy right then and there or else you might get caught in a change again.
