Need help to finalize surprise cruise

We are surprising my wife's parents with a Disney Wonder 3-day cruise September 9. They are from Germany and the goal is that they have no idea they're going on a cruise until the boat is in sight at the Port. My wife, I and our two-year-old will be with them.

I've got our cabins and the air to MCO the day prior to the cruise. Instead of staying at the Hyatt, I thought we'd take Art's Shuttle to Cocoa Beach (to create impression that it's a "beach" vacation).

Two questions - since we'll have no car, where would you recommend staying that is within walking distance of the sights of Cocoa Beach? Second, I need some recommendations on an attractive beachside restaurant in Cocoa Beach that (again) we could walk to from that hotel.

Shirley is an amazing lady - native of Key West - and she is extremely helpful to anyone visiting CB or KW.

You may also want to consider renting a van and dropping it off in Cocoa Beach. Even two one day rentals may be cheaper than the car service - it would keep the illusion of a beach vacation going a bit longer.
