Need help removing candle wax, please!

I didn't realize it but I must've spilled a little candle wax on my coat in Church on Christmas Eve. It's two little spots but it's right by the buttons and is noticeable. Did I mention this is my new coat?

Anyone know how to get candle wax off a wool coat?

Take a brown paper bag and put it over the wax. Then take your iron on low setting and run it back and forth over the wax. the was will melt and stick to the bag instead of your coat. If low doesn't work careful adjust the setting until it works.

I do! Take a paper bag and a hot iron. Put the bag on top of the wax and iron it. Move the bag when the was starts to seep through it so a fresh dry spot is over the wax. Oh, forgot, first pick off any of the wax that you can.

heavy paper towels will work under the iron as well,, this will also work to remove wax from atabler top or wall ( dont ask how we got wax on sheet rock)

Ohhh, thanks for those tips. I have had wax on my coat for a while now from when I was at a little romantic restaurant. The woman who owns the place ran over to me when she saw my coat go into the candle and said to put ice on it. never got that to work, so I will try the iron.
