Need help - question about check-in?

We are flying into MCO at 9:30 AM and are hoping to get to the POP century at around 11:00 AM.

Will we be able to check-in and choose our room then? It's really important to us to be in a certain section of the resort and have a higher-up floor (to see the fireworks at EPCOT).

The problem is we have an AP rate and I have to go over to a theme park to get one (using days left on an old ticket). Will they still let us check-in or will we have to come back in the middle of our day?

Trying to plan the first day and there's so much to do. Need some help with these questions.

You should be able to check in. They may want to see the AP when you check in.

Your room may or may not be available, and if it is not available, they will not tell you what room you have until it is available. When you check in, you can ask for the room preferences, but requests are not guaranteed.

If your room is not available when you check in, they will give you a telephone number to call to see when it is available. So you might need to head back over to the resort in the afternoon to get into your room.

I agree about the requests. Don't expect them to be granted and be thrilled if they do. Depending on when you are going the resort might be full and they wouldn't be able to give you the section you desire.
