Not sure where to post but hopefully somebody can help. Another Diser has made so cute Disney charcters and names as well. I want to make a few T-shirts for our upcoming trip. I printed them out on the Avery Dark T-Shirt iron transfer and it didn't work. There are no directions but the HAnes T-shirt CD was not helpful to me at all. I wonder if maybe I should jsut get the regular iron on for white or light shirts. Maybe I am just hopeless. Also not the most computer savy Dis member as well.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

How come they didn't work?

I haven't done it yet, washing my shirts so I can start tonight, but I was under the impression that the dark ones will be bolder in color. And with the light ones it would only look good on very light colored shirts, white would be the best.

With the ones that I bought (TransferMagic from JoAnn Fabrics) you print the light ones in a mirror image and the dark you print just regular.

Are you TOTALLY confused yet? I am sure I am of no help. I guess it would be best to know what went wrong to help you out.

GOOD LUCK! Kim

Tell us more about what didn't work. Did you peel the backing off, place the transfer on the shirt, and iron it on highest heat over parchment paper?

Ok I will try.;) I did print them out and I didn't mirror image them. However when I went to iron them on all I had was a 8.8x11 white transfer and no image. It was almost they were printed on the wrong side. The printing wasn't backwards just on the underside. Plain white side up. Not sure what I did wrong. I can't print on the other side because that is the part you peal away.

Maybe I sgould have used the one for white shirts. I wonder if the probelms was because the background was white also?

I did learn that you may want to trim you transfer if you don't use the whole page.

Hopefully I have explained this better.;) Thaks for any help you can supply.

How can I print it on the other side that side is paper and you place the iron there to iron.:confused3
Ok anothr member informed mw that I was suppose to take the peel off per off and then place the transer on right side up and cover with parchment paper to iron.

Sounds like you're getting there! Don't give up. You don't need another type of paper. That'll work.

We have a WINNER!!!:yay: Thaks so much each of you for helping.
:cheer2: A big THANKS to amymickey for the names!!:cheer2:
