Need Help! Possible Downgrading.

Ok, dh and I booked the Swan w/ the teacher rate for June. We since had to buy tires for Dh's car at the tune of $600 and we're remodeling our kitchen. We were going to get a fridge on financing through one of cards, but we found an unbelievably good deal that we couldn't pass up. So as to not deplete our savings any so much we're thinking about a down grade.

We'll be traveling w/ a 15mth old also. We're thing about POFG b/c of the size. We've stayed at CSR but thought it was rather large and spread out. I hear that CBR is worse so we crossed that one off. We want easy access. Not sure about doing only busses w/ a stroller. If we stay hear we would save $250.

We're also considering the POP. We've never stayed at a value. This would save us $500 if we booked a prefered room. How is the bus system here? If we're going to have to take buses everywhere I was kind of thinking about trying it here to really save us money.

I don't know what to do. What do you all think? I could really use your help on this one. Thanks!

POFQ is a great choice. We have stayed there many times, and in some ways enjoy it more than a few of the deluxes. Of course you miss the great location of the Swan, but POFQ offers the great boat service to DD. It is a small, intimate resort, and it is absolutely beautiful.

POFQ is our favorite of the moderate resorts. It is a lovely resort. And the size is perfect.

As for the buses, they are not so bad. We never had a problem.

We had a stroller last year & as soon as we got to the bus station at the resort, or at the parks, I would hold DS while DH would fold up the stroller. Very easy on and off. If a bus was really full we would opt to wait for the next one (and let others a head of us who wanted to cram into the full bus). That way we would have the first seat on the next bus.

Even if you stayed in Deluxe hotels you would need to use a bus if you wanted to go to any other park besides the MK or Epcot.

We love the theming of the POFQ & will choose it almost everytime we stay in a moderate.

The only real downside to the POFQ is that it does not have a sit down resturant, but you can use the one at POR pretty easily.
