Need help planning tickets

We are going Dec 17-27. I was thinking of getting AP and TIW card. We have a split stay 17-20 studio 20-23 1 bdr. at VWL and BLT 23-27. We will do DDP for stay at BLT. and plan bfast in room and cooking in 3 nights at VWL. DD is turning 10 end of Nov. small eater so DDP for whole trip would be a waste but we figure will be worth it during Christmas eve and Day.

Park tickets kids are 10,6 we plan to do most of the rides they want the first part of trip because we know holidays will be really crowded. I was going to buy . We thought we would go to MVMCP the 18th no discount for DVC on this date. Is it worth it ? should we skip the AP. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think you are right on the edge of justification for APs... 9 or 10 days is it? If you think you will return within 1 year then the AP is a no brainer.

AS for the party - there are 2 scenarios and I don't know which you will find.

1) low crowd and it's a fantastic value
2) moderate to high crowd and then the money is mostly spent for the ambience, atmosphere, and special shows and parade.
Purely a personal choice!

I agree on your eating plans, our daughter doesn't generally eat enough for the dining plan either!
