Need help planning our first night - May 1st

Sat, May 1st is our arrival night in the world. We are actually on an early flight this year and will be in the world by 5pm ish. so....boo hoo....its Grad Night at MK. We are staying at the VWL the first couple nights and want to do MK for Spectro/Fireworks that first night....

so..does anyone think there will be a Spectro or fireworks with the Grad night? will the park close at 7 or 9???

I am sure the park closed early on Grad night, but I don't know what time. I would do Hoop Dee Do your first night, or Whispering Canyon Cafe. Both a lot of fun!!

We will also be spending our fist night at the World on May 1st. This will be our first time at the Poly, so we are going to just hang out there. We may take a dip in the pool, then it will be over to the Contemporary for dinner at Chef Mickey's.

We will also be there May 1. We are doing exactly what 2belles'mom suggested to you. Hoop Dee Doo at 7:15. We will probably hang out afterward to see the EWP. You could go to MGM for Fantasmic or Epcot for Illuminations if you want to see fireworks. Most likely MK will be closing at 7pm which means no Spectro or Wishes.
