Need Help Planning for May Trip

Hullo,

We are planning a trip at the end of May -- 3 Day Cruise, and then 8 days at BWV. I was hoping that someone might offer some advice and information on the following points:

1) Open and closing times -- are those available for that time of year?

2) At what hour are the fireworks displays typically held?

3) Does anyone know what time the Keys to the Kingdom tour and the Undiscovered Future World tour take place?

4) I've heard conflicting advice about the MK fireworks display -- some say to see it from inside the MK, and others say see it from atop the Contemporary -- any thoughts on this?

I appreciate anything you can share on this.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom Boardwalk veiw this past May at BWV's. You will love it!

The official Disney website will post official opening/closing times closer to your visit. When we were there I think it was:

MK 9-7
AK 9-6
E 9-9
MGM 9-8

I could be wrong but that is what I seem to remember. Fireworks are usually at closing.

One nice this about BWV's is that you will be able to see the Illuminations fireworks each night around 9:00, especially if you have a Boardwalk veiw, right from your balcony. That's one of the best things we loved about BWV's. We would go to Sweets, get ourselves an icecream, and enjoy the veiw from the balcony! Fun!!!!

As for MK fireworks display, I have only seen it (not Wishes though) at the MK and it was great.........Why not try both on different nights?

Wish I had info on the tours but I've never done them

I am from the Portland area....never been to the area you mentioned!!!! Are you a DVC owner at BWV's? Did you request a veiw????

Pemaquid is the next peninsula up the coast from Boothbay.

There used to be a site that posted historical hours, but I cant find them on any of my regular sites. IM guessing that WDW has been so all over that map hours wise the last few years, that they are totally unhelpful in planning.

I believe that Keys to the kingdon runs in the morning and provides lunch. I dont have any idea about the other.

We've seen the fireworks from inside the MK and from a boat on the 7 seas lagoon. Both were great. They are usually held at closing. But if the parks close before sundown, they wont hold them.

We are DVC'rs and LOVE IT!
