I realize that rates are not yet available for March 2007.. but we can get a good guesstimate for budgeting and that is what I am trying to do.
We are in our mid 30s, married 7 years this spring and newly minted Disney and DIS fans. We want to go to Disney for our anniversary in mid-March and fit in at least one Mets-Braves game. Previous anniversary trips that we have loved have been either the Outer Banks of NC off season (totally quiet, emphasis on resting and fine dining) and Vegas (totally BUSY and, again, big emphasis on nice meals.)
Here are our questions.
1) Where to stay? We would like a resort with its own lounge and a restaurant other than food court on site-- We like POR, but are considering upgrading to an EPCOT area resort. Are they worth it?
2) WHICH one is best for adults wanting an adult vacation? (Recognizing that none will be entirely child free-- it *is* Disney) I am leaning to Boardwalk, it seems like it would have a sort of Vegas/ Atlantic City feel to it with the lights and activity and proximity to EPCOT for just walking and wandering.
3) Is the premium package worth it-- can we really have signature dining every night?!?!?!?
4) When you add "waterparks and more" to your MYW tickets do you get admission to games at the Wide World of Sports, or just admission to the facility there?
5) Is there a nine-hole short golf course at Disney? A chip-and-putt? Would they be part of the premium package?
6) do any of the resorts have cabana attendants/ waiters at the pools? We really like to spend days by the pool ordering from a server...
Thanks!
