Need Help picking which printer/fax/scanner/copier to buy...

My DH & I have been talking about buying one for quite a while. Any suggestions on which is the best?

I really would like one that will also scan slides and do fairly good picture quality printing. The fax feature really isn't that important - but would be nice to use once in a while.

We have a Hewlett Packard Officejet 6110xi all-in-one and we love it. We bought it for $260, which is pricier compared to others that you could get out there, but for the copier on this machine, you can lift up the lid and copy items. The one that we had before which was a multipass, you could only scan big papers-no little business cards and such or else the machine would get jammed.

Epson makes several all in ones. They don't have a fax though. You can fax through Windows. If you are going to be scanning and printing your slides you should look for a better scanner or you will be disappointed with the results.

We have an Epson Stylus CX5200. It has all the features that you want. I love mine, very easy to use. I think it may cost around $150 at Staples. It does a great job.
