We are planning a family reunion at DisneyWorld in June, and we want to have one lunch or dinner all together at a Disney restaurant, preferably with characters, but I don't think that is a necessity. The group will be somewhere between 25 and 30 people.

What would you suggest?

No ? for me having done this a quite a few times it was always at Chef Mickey's. Love this place and have a great time here .:cool1:

Thanks! And they do have that back area. Maybe we could have that to ourselves.

We ate there in Oct 07 with just 4 of us. I did like it. So that might indeed work well!

Yes they have the back area. Also I think they are making it bigger since the steakhouse closed. I was there in Aug. and it was under consturction. But in my opinion since I have done this more then once this is the best place to get together. HAVE A MAGICAL TIME :thumbsup2

From my experience, I would have to agree with Chef Mickey's. It might be a little noisy, but it certainly has something for everyone - and they are very good at accomodating large groups.

You'll want to be calling for Chef Mickey's soon.

I tried calling DVC to ask for suggestions, but they won't book this far out anyway. That's limited to 90 days from requested date.

Call Group Dining. We just booked for June (90 days ++), and because many people booked before the 90 day policy supposedly went into effect, tables for groups are hard to get. We've been told different things, but we were able to book. :confused3

9 Dragons at Epcot comes to mind - no charaters ( other than the group of them you bring with you :) )

They have lots of space and the food is really good.

Raglan Road may be another location that could work. They have very big spaces and some smaller rooms with just a few tables. Your whole group may fit in there so it's more private for you.
