Need help painting ballet shoes.

Be sure to spray paint outside!:lmao:

Do several thin coats rather than one or two thick coats. Be sure to allow plenty of time for the paint to dry between coats.

Do it before the day before the recital. (Voice of experience!)...DD's class sprayed their tap shoes silver one year, when they had white Elvis jumpsuits. The paint never dried properly and was still tacky the day of the recital (I think they gave us a bad can of paint to use, because it happened to ALL the girls in the class) and they all ended up with silver smudges on the white costumes. :scared1:

Remember to cover the soles on the bottom good-if you get any type of spray paint on the suede bottoms they may become slippery.

Ack, forgot about this; we covered the bottom of her shoes with duct-tape before we sprayed to make sure the bottoms didn't get slippery.
