Need help on wording for brochure I'm making up...

I'm treating my mom to a mother-daughter weekend down in Amish country.. and am making up a brochure to give to her on Christmas to let her know.

So far, I have some pictures of the Inn we'll be staying at on the front flap.. then on the inside, I'm going to put a picture of the room and a couple various pictures of us together.

But having a hard time coming up with how to say where I'm taking her.

This is what I have so far.. but not sure I like it.. and kind of at a dead-end now too.

"As something different for Christmas this year...

I'm treating you to a mother - daughter getaway down in Amish country.

We'll be staying at the ... ... Inn, where we'll be pampered with gorgeous views of the farmland. "


And that's all I've come up with, ugh.. (and I don't like it, lol).

Any hints/ideas?

What kinds of things will you be doing? That would help with wording.

We'll be staying 1 night.. eating lunch on the way down.. checking in around 3:00 (so probably doing a bit of shopping around the area between lunch and checking in).

Going to leave it up to her whether she wants to make this a totally relaxing couple days (just hang out at the inn, they'll have a fireplace and jacuzzi in our room), or if she wants to make it more busy, with lots of shopping around the area.

But that's really all that's planned..

Do a big lunch on way down.. check in.. light dinner later on (not sure how we'll do that one)... continental breakfast in morning (included), check out.. at this point, we'll most likely do shopping.. have a late lunch.. then come home whenever we're done shopping.

Dear Mom,

Remember when I was little and we would spend the whole day (baking, watching movies, shopping, listening to music, doing crafts, whatever)? I have such wonderful memories of just the two of us spending time together.

Life gets busy and we just don't have the chance to do much of that anymore. So, as your Christmas gift this year, I have planned a weekend getaway to Amish Country - for just the two of us!

We'll leave behind the kids, the dogs, the busyness of our everyday lives and just spend some time together.

We'll tour _________, have some great meals, maybe go for a walk, do a little shopping, relax, ____________ and ____________. Mostly though, we will have time to talk and catch up and just be Mother and Daughter for a couple of days.

Our weekend away is _________ __ & __ , 2012. We will stay at the _____ Inn in ______________, which is __ miles away, a ___ hour drive.

Along the way, we'll stop at ____________ and maybe even __________.

I've planned most of the weekend, but want to be sure that we have some time to be spontaneous - or just relax.

Have a wonderful time! I did something like this with my mom for Mother's Day a few years ago. We went only for a day trip, but it was really a memorable time. Don't forget your camera!
