So I'm trying to find a date to go to Disney in 2015 and I need some advice from the experts.

My options are March 11-17 (Spring Break Season, I think) or May 19-25 (Memorial Day Weekend). Any advice? Which would have lower crowds?

Traveling with a large group including 70 year old DM & DD and prefer lower park crowds.

May is actually Memorial Day. That week will see higher crowds on that weekend, but the rest should be nice. The March week will be steadily busy over the entire week.

Thanks you're right.

March will be busier. We have gone in both months consistently. May is warmer, March can be either way some days cold some warm. The crowd level the week in May is 7 and 8's while mid March is usually mostly 9's. We just got back from a trip the last week in March and it was much busier than our end of May trip last year. :)

Thanks that's what I was wondering. This year we went the week after NYE and there were cold days and it was crowded looking for Warmer weather with low crowds (if that exists)

Certain weeks in March is spring break. Our very first time going way back in 2006 was the 2nd week of March and it wasn't too bad. Our original plan for this year was week of Memorial Day, but crowd levels are a bit higher, so we're going the week before. It'll be warmer in May though....so if you can go during a better week in March, I would do that. Yes, NYE is a big no no, lol...we figured that out a few years ago. :crazy2:

The dates in March will fall in the middle of the 2nd week beginning of 3rd week. Will probably be getting into spring break crowds .

Spring break crowds will start the second week of March. This year's crowds were predicted to be a 9 for almost all of that week. May would be less crowded overall.

May hands down. One of our favorite times to go. Crowds will be moderate during the week and busy on the weekend but weather should be great. Maybe a little warm but not too bad usually.

We went almost the same dates this past March and there were a couple really chilly days. We didn't swim much because it never really got hot. I would pick May just because weather in March can be more iffy.

I think May it is. Kids are off from college so we can go the week before or after Memorial Day. Let the planning begin!!

Now, will there be discounts? FD?
