My Wife and I are WDW Veterans. We go almost every year. It is normally just the two of us that go.

Here is where I need help. We are planning a Family vacation to WDW that will include Adults and Children. I will be in charge of all Reservations like Resorts, Tickets, Dining and Fast Passes. I will want to add them to our Different reservations as needed.

What is required for me to be able to do this? Does each of them need to sign up and get a MyDisney Account?

All help is appreciated.

Does each of them need to sign up and get a MyDisney Account?
Probably the "preferred" way to do this.
(That way they won't ALWAYS be in YOUR account into the future.)

The other way is to simply add them directly into your account.
(But that way, as I alluded above, they will all still remain in YOUR account into the future.)

We will have a 6 year old and a 13 year old as well as 6 adults. Can the kids sign up for MyDisney Experience?

Do they "belong" to any of the other adults on your trip?
(Whether they do or do not "belong") they can be "added to" any of the other adult guests' MDX account(s.)
They would then "connect" to you when those adults' account(s) "join" yours.

That would keep YOUR account "clear" of any guest, adult or child, that you don't
"always" want to keep connected to you.

I just got back from a trip where my parents and sister and niece joined us. When I started planning the trip, my parents did not have MDE accounts, so I simply added them to my resort reservation and then when they purchased their tickets, I linked their tickets on my MDE account under their names and then scheduled their fast passes, etc. As we got closer to our trip, they decided that they wanted to make a few of their own dining reservations and wanted to see their fast passes so they set up their own MDE account, but because they did this after we had made all of the reservations, we had to call support to link the MDE accounts that they had set up with the profiles that were in my reservation.

My sister already had a MDE account before we started planning, so she just had to add me to her account and give me access to plan for her account. So, if you anticipate that they will want to access MDE to see reservations and fastpasses and possibly make changes or simply to view what you set up, you will save yourself from having to call support by having them set the accounts up in advance and then link you and give you permission to plan for them.

I managed a party of 11 in 2017. I entered their ticket numbers into MDE as Friends&Family, wifey and I were on site at Board Walk on rented DVC points so I had the owner add our 2 adult daughters to the ressie so the 2 families off site would have free parking at the parks and to visit us at BW. I gave the daughters my user name and PW so they could manage their and the grand kids Fast Passes, I made all FP+ choices 60 plus days out and as AP holders our F&F got the use of Photo Pass.
