Need help in planning

I'm trying to plan what days we'll go to which park and could use some advice.

I'm wondering when you'd advise we do MVMCP--the first night of it on Nov 28 (the Sun after Thanksgiving), Tues Nov 30, or Thurs Dec 2nd????

If we do it on 11/28 will we face large crowds from Thanksgiving? Will it be a good show as it will be the first one of the season (getting the kinks worked out)? If we do it this day, our first day at WDW, it would be a great kickoff to the vacation.

If we do it on 11/30 it would fall in the middle of our trip. Whatever day we do MVMCP we're planning to not go to the parks until time to get in for MVMCP so as to save a day on our passes. So if we do it this day, mid vacation, it would give us a leisurely hotel day beforehand, and some down time for the kids.

If we do it on 12/2 on our last night at the parks it would be a wonderful ending to the week and great memories to take home with us.

Which would you choose and why? I appreciate your help!

Just to have the very magical ending, and to kick off the Christmas season for the family. Then, I'd probably want to get out the Christmas tree as soon as we got home, I'd be so in the Spirit! But, if I did that, I'd probably do parks in the morning, then take an early afternoon break, and then the party. So, if you really aren't going to parks at all that day, I might do it in the middle for the break...............................that's just me though! I'm sure it'll be lots of fun no matter when you do it!

I think it depends on what time you're arriving and departing...if you have early flights out on the day you arrive, then I'd skip it cuz you'll be tired. Same thing if you have early flights out on the day you leave.

I'd be safe and go for the middle - its the middle of the week (so probably less crowded) and a good time for an afternoon break from the parks.

Have fun whenever you go...this year will be our first time too - we have to go on Sun. Dec. 12th - I'd rather go during the week, but we won't be there that long.

I vote for mid week, as it would be a nice break during the day, and probably a less crowded MVMCP, all though my gang will be there that night!!
