Need help in finding a breeder

My husband and I are look for a breeder, in the Northeast, that breeds Lhasapoos. They are a combo of Lhasa Apsas and Poodles. The breeders I have found are pretty far away from me. Is there anyone out there that might be able to help me?

We got a Lhasa many years ago from a breeder just outside State College, Pa. I don't know if they are still in business or not. I wish I could remember the name. All I remember is that we named our Lhasa Nittany because he came from a kennel on Nittany mountain. Sorry~~wish I could be more help but maybe if you do a yellow page search for the State College area you'll get something. I'll look around some myself.

I guess my problem is is that it is a difficult dog to find. It's not a pure breed. It's a hybrid. I'm trying to locate Lhasa breeders and hopefully they'll be able to steer me in the right direction.

I found someone al72ma@aol.com/yahoo.com who lived in New York that was looking for a breeder. You may wish to email them to see if they had any luck.

Another person, shptgt@rcn.com, in PA was looking for a breeder for their female. You may want to check with them also. Further away, but if you really want one....

This person jaziblue@altavista.com also was trying to sell some dogs about 2 years ago. They are in texas but may have some contacts for you. If they are still selling more, they may be able to ship one on a plane for you....
