you need to remember that those at TSA are not law enforcement. Some people joke that they do airport security because they failed the mall-cop exam ...
Security at Disney (bag search) are probably more properly trained.

it all depends on who is performing the search when you go through security.
Some will just don't care and wave you through with a bottle of sprite, while in the next line a cupcake gets confiscated because of the glazing is "gel-like" (don't laugh, a TSA officer actually confiscated a cupcake a few months ago ...)
some TSA are so bored that they don't check anything, some are so bored that they will nitpick at anything first chance they get. Most of them do their job like they're supposed to

And I had two bottles I water taken off me.....

Yep and I have had a bottle of coke taken off me that I had forgotten...:rolleyes1

When DD was younger I did get through with water in her cup but she would have been a real toddler then.

The rules are there and I would always expect them to stick to them and have a plan to deal with it. The only exemptions are for babies and liquid medicines.

Had a snow globe taken of a child in Orlando. Can take bottles of diluting juice in checked bags for when you arrive.

You assume that, since security officers gave you some leeway at some point, you will always get the same treatment.
There is no guarantee whatsoever. It will be less and less likely as the girls grow up.
For all you know security could very well say no, and ask you to throw away the juice, and they would have every right to do so.

The underlying question was not to question what you do with your kids but to consider a backup plan just in case security tell you that you can't go through the checkpoint with the juice, wether you taste it or not.

Im sorry but i dont assume anything. Im talking from my experiance

Last year we had a four year old with us as still he got through security with juice and diluted juice in a bottle

After reading all this about juice being allowed through or not. If they do it for one they should do it for all children. Under 2's and children with Learning disabilities for example I can understand them being more lenient. Sorry but my daughter has allergies and for 9 hours or so She would have to drink what was available. No child is allergic to water and if thirsty they will drink it. Taking juice in the cases would not be an issue as long as declared on the form. If people want to take the risk then thats their choice .
Tracy(elise) was only trying to help and give an alternative back up!

Back is fine i was just speaking about my experiances and dont like being told i faff over my children.

I would rather take my juice and have a peaceful flight that have moaning children for 9 hours. We have flown with the girls many times since they were no longer 'babies' amd have never had a problem with juice in their cups. I dont take a full robinsons bottle through security but their cups and a spare bottle with concentrate in.

This experiance with security is not just mco but other countries too

Thanks everyone for your tips and advice.
I now have it all nicely typed up on my Disney spreadsheet. LOL.

I do agree but I think the fact elise said about faffing over kids is what may have offended some "orange tiggs" in particular and I have to point out there are some who are allergic to even water (had to add that lol)

I think if you want to go to those lengths on the plane to keep your child happy thats fine but of course beware they may make you throw it away

Knowing Tracy I dont thing she would dream of offending anyone. These boards are ridiculous sometimes.

The OP has got the answers to her questions so I am closing this thread now.
