Need help from a New Yorker for a NYC pinmeet July 13, 2002

As our pinpal Karinmac from the left coast will be visiting, how about a meet on July 13?? Can someone from the city help to organize a meet, perhaps early afternoon?

Please post if you can attend and if you are willing to help with the planning...hope to see lots of you!!!

Hey Leslie I would be more than willing to help out with this, however I feel that we should have the meet on July 14 because usually more people can show up on sunday's since some people do work on saturday. Please email me at yoda972@aol.com so we can discuss arrangements.

I think Sunday would be good too because then we can have our monthly CT meet on the Saturday as normal. At the last meet we assimilated...um, I mean, recruited two new families and are looking forward to seeing them next month!!

I beleive (Karin correct me if I'm wrong) that the person we are arranging this with, Karinmac, is going back to CA on Sunday. It would be nice to do both though.

Well, the only day that Karin can make it is Saturday, so I hope that some of you can be a little flexible and travel to NYC for the day...it'll be fun!! Come on...New York, the big Apple!! What do ya say? Let's do it!!

Dom, I believe you are correct. Last I knew Karin & family go home on the 14th.

Cathy, I would love to meet all you crazy ... oops mean wonderful pin trading friends, but we have a prior committment that day.

the Sony Public Space where we have had meets before is always very welcoming and at this time of the year we will not have to deal with ice on the ceiling.

So, Saturday July 13 at say......2 p.m.? The Sony Public Space on 55th between 5th Ave and Madison.

Will that give everyone enough time to get there?

This is a good spot as it will give our West Coast visitors a chance to visit the big Disney Store on 5th Avenue.

Yes, I am flying home on the 14th. I am in NYC from the 4th of July til the 14th. I have been to the 5th Avenue store many times and I look forward to another visit. Even though I left on the left coast, I spent my 1st 37 yrs in NYC.
