I am taking my neice and nephew to disneyland in july. We all want to see world of color. I wasnted to know if the dinning packages are worth booking? I also wanted help deciding which is better Ariels Grotto or the wine country trattoria. My neice is 16 and she is not picky. My nephew is 12 and a little picky....help:confused:

In July, I would probably book the dining package since it is more crowded during the Summer...especially if you want the preferred dining section to watch WOC vs. the regular FP locations.

We have one booked at Ariel's Grotto for 4/24. After reading reviews of AG vs WCT, the reviews seemed more favorable for AG. If you look under the dining section of Dis Boards or Disneyland's website, the menus are available. The selections for my family were more favorable at AG.

IMO the WOC dining packages are only worth booking if you want to eat dinner at one of these places already. We have always found the AG WOC dinner to be quite good.

But do not book these because you think it gets you some huge advantage in seeing WOC. You get a little advantage because the viewing area is in the center, but in general you still need to arrive very early if you want to be sure to get a good viewing spot.
