Need help for our first visit July 15-17

There will be 12 of us visiting US/IOA for 2 and 1/2 days. 8 adults, 3 teenagers and 1 10 years old (dd). Adults do not like thriller rides but teens love them... dd may like it. All of us love to see HP. We will arrive Orlando on July 15th morning around 10am. Planning to do some grocery shopping and check in our vacation home. I think we may go to IOA around 4pm. Ride whatever they like or whatever has short line. Have dinner in the park and go to see HP. Hopefully FJ line is not that long near closing time. If we are not too tired (I think we should as we head to airport in 3am), we can go to US to ride Dispicable Me). In the next morning, go check in RPH around 8am and head to US for 9am opening. Go to Dispicable Me right away since it doesn't accept express pass. Ride one more time if short line. May I know what rides are excluded from the express pass ? We will make sure ride those first. Otherwise, we can relax and take our time to enjoy the park. I believe we can do everything we want with the pass. Then we will take the advantage of the early enetrace on July 17th and spend our day in IOA.

if you check into RPH earlier, you would be able to use the early entry of 8:00 to enter ioa for parry hotter.


your room might not be ready but you can leave your belongings with valet.


all you need is the hotel key and hotel picture card to use the express lines.


have read that some guests at the sister hotel had their photo card made and used it in the parks.

have not heard anyone report back yet on the other 2 hotels system for that.
if they haven't started that process yet, not a problem. just show your hotel room key for the express lines.

IOA will open at 8, one hour earlier than US. That mean we need to check in around 6am. It will be too tough as we woke up really early a day before.
