So I will be going to WDW on the 18th thru the 22nd. I had to go before August, but I wanted to have a less crowded time than July. I am very accostomed to the hot (being from GA) but, I want to know about crowds. I waited until after the Pride Days (or whatever they call it now) but before the 4th of July crowd comes in. Is it still *that* bad? I have been in mid-August before. Is it worse than that? How much more/less?

Thanks in advance for the input!

Yes, there are huge crowds. We have been in June a few times around Father's Day and while the crowds are there, we had a wonderful time! The planning in advance of what attractions to hit and when... and when we will eat, etc, really helps a lot when it is crowded. Epcot seems less crowded because it is spread out over a larger area.

I'd avoid the early entry park if you aren't going for "early entry" as it tends to be full of people by early afternoon. Our plan is always to go early and go on rides / see attractions when it is not as busy, head back to the hotel to swim or sleep, and then back to the parks in the evening.

I can't compare to August as I've never been then.

Have a great trip!

Thanks for the info. I consider myself to be a veteran park goer, but some times even I worry!

We'll be there the same time as you. Our June strategy is to get there when the parks open. I know we'll only last until lunchtime, then we'll go back to the resort to swim. Also, we'll always have a fastpass. Have a great trip!
