I have searched but cannot find the links for the websites/forums about the two machines. Can someone give them to me please? My friend is trying to decide between a wishblade or cricut expressions and I don't have either so am no help to her. I bragged about you all, so don't let me down (you never do!):cool1:

I want to know too. When the cricut first came out, I thought it was obvious that if you are computer inclined, that the Wishblade/craft robo would be better because there would be no spending $50-$80 on new cartridges. And then they started coming out with the Disney carts and now I'm seriously thinking about getting a cricut, even though I still want a wishblade!

What is a Wishblade? Is it for a MAC too? I am new at all of this and trying to figure out what is best for my needs.

A recent issue of Creating Keepsakes Magazine had an article listing the pros and cons of all of the new die cutting machines. Probably the June or July issue, I am guessing. Maybe she could find the article online........P

thescrappinpath.com has some good information about the weishblade. I am on numerous yahoo groups but the ones with the best information are easywishbladers and wishblading. In their files section they have things that outline the best and worst things about each of the wishblade type machines. There is now the wishblade, craftrobo, silloutte, Klic n Kut, pazzles, and the savvy scrapper- many of which have different levels of machines depending on the depth and size you want and need to cut.

Okay... I found my magazine, but I can't find the article online. Maybe your friend could find the magazine somewhere like the library. It was the August 2007 issue, page 111. The article is called "The Final Cut". They talk about the Sizzix Big Shot, the Quickutz Sillhouette, the Cricut personal and the Cricut Expression, the Wizard, Pazzles mini, Xyron Personal Cutting System, and the Wishblade.

I don't own any of them yet (I just have an "old school" sizzix machine), but I am trying to hold out for a Wishblade. Even though they specifically say that the learning curve is greater (it was midway on their ease of use chart), I think in the long run it would be a more versatile machine. BTW, the article did say that the Wishblade is Mac compatible. If she can't find the article or has any other specific questions, I will leave the magazine near the computer for the next few days and I would be happy to let you know what they say..........................P
