need help finding cheepest flights - are there US sites to try

I am trying to see if we could afford to go and visit my relatives in cayman over Xmas. We were meant to be trying to meet up in orlando this summer but an unexpected addition to their family is due in AUG so they probably wont make it over We really want to see them Xmas will be the only time we can go as both girls in exam study mode over next easter (not sure if the younger one will be as accepting of this fact as I am).

Quotes so far £958 each ecc with 2 stops 23rd- 6th with an over night on route or £1297 with no overnight. - not affordable


Now looking at going via mia and staying there for 7nights then flying on cayman then back to london

so far I have GLA- MIA then GCM to LON for £701 I will have to add on lon to Gla (prob £50-80) and also MIA to GCM which is £142 total £900 - still too high


What I am trying to find out is are there any US websites I could try to see if I can get the prices down.

But realistically, you'll be lucky to find LON-MIA for less than £600 over the Christmas holidays and then you've got your MIA-GCM return flights on top of that - so I think £800-900 is the very cheapest you're going to get

If your daughters have exams, does this mean they'll be on study leave and then not return to school once the exams are over (as is typical in Year 11 and 13)? If so, the exams are *usually* done by the end of June, so you could try looking for an early-July trip which may come in cheaper as it's outside of the school holidays for most.

the eldest is at uni so she would have no problems going in june/julywith regards to term dates but she will be 20 and hoping for a internship next summer. The younger one will be sitting her standard grades (gcse equiv) and in scotland the higher courses (A level equi) start as soon as the exams are over in june so she will not be able to go until the summer in july 2013- july is just too hot out there - Also the baby will be nearly a year by then I may just have to hope they will come home for a visit - but with 3 under 6 that will be one hell of a journey!!
