Need help finding cheap transportation!

I have done this 5 times now and each time we go, we get it cheaper because of all the help from all of you! Alright I am tryng to talk my husband into another Disney trip. If that doesn't work out then I am going to try and talk my 3 girlfriends into taking a girls trip. How can I get there (have to fly) and get around (from airport to Disney and back). Any suggestions, discounts or great ideas? Help, I have Disney Fever!!

For airlines--check alternate airports from your departure city and in Florida (Tampa). If you're flexible check for a few different days (T-W-TH) sometimes give you lower fares.
Renting a car saves the cost of airport transfers and allows you to stay offsite and eat some of your meals offsite.
If you can live with it's very rigid policies you can use PL (hotel and rental car). I wouldn't use PL for air, you may wind up with a connecting flight and could get in very late and leave very early (lose first and last day of your trip).
