Need help finding a FUN NON DISNEY hotel, condo, etc

With all the increases and shortened EMH's, I have decided to venture off site.

I don't think a rental house is for us...not enough fun.....

I have seen so many resort hotels listed it makes my head spin.

I am looking for a hotel that has activities at the hotel, nice pools (a slide is a big plus) and not too far from WDW, US, and SW with buses. 1 bd is an extra plus.

Is there such a thing? I don't mind renting a condo for a week.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek would fit your bill. It is a timeshare condo resort that you would need to rent a week from an owner but you can go through places like Vacation Strategies and Vacation Upgrades to rent.

You can get a 2 bedroom for about $100 a night.

It has 5 pools, 2 pool slides, 2 lazy rivers, free putt putt golf course, game rooms activity center, craft room and a whole list of daily activities for the kids. They have make your own ice cream sundae every day at 3 pm.

We are Wyndham owners and are going to stay there for the first time this November for a week.

I can't wait to take my kids there (not this trip- adults only)

But Bonnet Creek is a resort where you can actually spend fun time at the resort.

If you do a search under this thread Orlando hotels and attractions and search for We Love Bonnet Creek thread you will get a lot of FAQ's answered about the resort.

They have one, two, three and even four bedroom condos.

Bonnet Creek is actually located INSIDE the Disney World property and they have shuttles to the different parks but the shuttle is not free. I think it is $6 per person per day for the Disney parks. Not sure about Sea World or the Universal parks. You can find that out in the Bonnet Creek thread.
