Hey Everyone!

Early apologies if something similar has been asked -- I've tried searching the different threads and topics but couldn't find anything (or if this should be posted in a different category, please redirect me!)

4 adults and myself (5 total) will be traveling to Orlando for mainly the Disney parks, from 10/21 - 10/29.

Our itinerary (for now) looks something like this:

10/21 (Friday): Travel Day
10/22 (Saturday): Typhoon Lagoon
10/23 (Sunday): Magic Kingdom
10/24 (Monday): Disney's Hollywood Studios/maybe park hop to Epcot if we finish early?
10/25 (Tuesday): Free Day (wanted to use this day to either go back to Magic Kingdom to finish anything we missed, or split Epcot into two days, and have this be the first of two) - still unsre
10/26 (Wednesday): Epcot
10/27 (Thursday): Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure
10/28 (Friday): Animal Kingdom
10/29 (Saturday): Travel Day

My initial thought was to just purchase a 6 Day Ticket with Water Park Fun & More option, which comes out to $446.24 with taxes, directly from the WDW website. Does anyone know or think there might be an option that's better in terms of value? We're pretty committed to the itinerary above, which calls for 6 days at parks (including Typhoon Lagoon and the extra "Free Day"). The only day we would park hop would be 10/24 (Monday), for some reason we think we might finish at DHS early, and if that's the case, then we'd want to park hop ... but not sure if it's worth it adding a park hopper option for the sake of maybe park hopping for just one day?

I also saw on Parksavers, a 5 Day MYW Hopper & Water Park Ticket for $390, which I think includes tax, but -- that doesn't really help me much, since our itinerary has us at the parks 6 days?? (unless you guys see anything that can be altered). Likewise, I'm also seeing on Parksavers a 6 Day MYW Hopper & Water Park Ticket for $448, almost the same price as the 6 Day Ticket with Water Parks from the WDW website directly ... if anything, might as well go with the 6 Day on Parksavers?

Thanks in advance for any help you're able to provide! This is my first trip to Disney World, and the many different ticket options are pretty overwhelming!

I'm only counting 5 park days and 1 water park day. A 5-day wp&m ticket would cover your plans.

I would throw another water park or mini golf visit into the schedule. You may as well get your money's worth out of the wp&m

You only need the five day ticket. A five day ticket gets you five days of admission to the theme parks, which is what you want. The water park admission is covered by the Water Park Fun & More option.

Sorry guys, I'm probably not understanding the MYW Hopper + Water Parks feature then; how would the 5-day be enough, when technically I have 6 days including Typhoon Lagoon?

With a 5 day wp&m ticket, you get 5 major park days plus 5 minor park entries to be used over a 14-day period.

Oooooooooh, got it! So, those 5 "minor park entries" from the WP&M option is kind of like, in addition to the 5 days of the "major" parks?
