My son is truley in love with Monster trucks. He collects them(to play not to sit on shelves) and wanted his room done in this topic. Problem is his carpet is blue and I dont know what colors to put on the wall, right now they are white.

I couldnt find bedding that was monster jam so I found this set at walmart on clearance

for christmas he got these cool removable stickers for the wall

and he got 2 pennents for the wall while at the monster jam event we just had plus a checkered flag.

he has these small flags which come with his trucks I was thinking of using double sided tape and randomly putting them around the room.

any ideas on colors or anything else that would be cool..I was thinking a ligt gray to match the grey in the monster jam logobut dont know

How about light gray walls with a horizontal stripe (chairrail height) with a royal blue, black, and lime stripe?

Two ideas I saw on TV while not Monster truck they are still automotive in nature.

one was to use the stripes that you use for cars on the walls
and to use the red metal tool carts (you know the ones with drawers on wheels) in the room for storage.

My mom keeps telling me to do an accent wall but I don't know. The green on his bed matches perfect with Grave Digger green but I dont want it on the walls..lol Any one ever put one of those huge wall stickers on the wall or would you think it was too much?/

I did just a search on eBay and found several things I might use to design a Monster truck themed room. :) Here's a few links.

Here's some handmade dresser drawer/closet knobs with monster trucks on them - you can swap out the ones he has.

This is a cool removable wall sticker - you can have it designed with your son's name on it. If you did an accent wall behind his bed, this might look cool above his headboard.

Does your son have a ceiling fan? Here are monster truck themed ceiling fan blades to replace the plain ones he has now.

Here's a light switch plate cover.

Here's a monster truck wallpaper border - its 15 feet long, and 10 are available, so you could get enough to go all the way around the room at ceiling height, or at chair rail height, as a PP suggested, then paint the two halves of the room different colors.

I like the idea of an accent wall, or a chair rail and two different colors of paint; to play off the colors in the bedding set. Since you don't want the lime green color (don't blame you - I wouldn't either) I'd do a light blue and the grey.

Also, check your local fabric store. You can probably find monster truck-themed fabric and stitch some pillowcases and valance curtains yourself. They are very easy, and would tie the look together, even if the bedding set isn't monster truck themed.

HTH!
