Need Help! Deluxe Hotel Question

Hi everyone,looking for some help.

Planning a vacation for two family’s for a total of 4 adults and 4 children under 11. We want to stay on the monorail and are looking for the best type of room in the deluxe hotel. We could always get separate rooms, but we were hoping for maybe a room together to help the keep the cost down. Not sure which hotel would be better when it comes to trying to get a larger room or suite.

Any suggestions or perks for larger rooms would be help helpful to know.

It will cost less to get seperate rooms. You would have to get a 2BRM suite to fit 8 and their very expensive.

Another option would to go with a 2brm at WLV thru CRO their $555 in value season or go over to the DVC board & rent points.

8 people will require 2 rooms. The cheapest monorail resort rooms will be in the Contemporary wings. We stayed in the North wing several years ago and really enjoyed it. It was quiet and we could see the fireworks from our window. The rooms and bathroom is quite large.

If you don't mind being just off the monorail, I'd suggest Wilderness Lodge. It's a great resort and less expensive than the actual monorail resorts. Look at the thread called WL faq, part 5. You'll find lots of information as well as floor plans there.

Hey thanks alot for the info, I will look at maybe staying at the WL. I have always stayed at moderate and value. My sister in law wants a deluxe for our family vacation, so I will remain on the hunt.
